Summary of Requirements / Description of Work: The Joint Medical Command

(a Tri-Service organisation within the Ministry of Defence has a requirement to provide medical training and specialist support to Armed Forces personnel. This includes the provision of entomological advice and specimen identification services, and understanding the role of Arthropods and rodents and their control in the context of human illness. The Contractor is required to have an association with a recognised academic institution of Entomology and be able to provide various services, to support Medical Entomology vector control and Integrated Pest management training at MOD establishments, mainly at the Defence Medical Services Training Centre’s (DMSTC) Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (DEOH), Keogh Barracks, Aldershot, Hampshire, United Kingdom. However on occasions training courses shall require to be undertaken in other MOD establishments in the UK, Germany and Cyprus.

Main Place of Performance or Delivery: United Kingdom and other MOD establishments in Germany and Cyprus.
