The Ideal Pesticide

Insecticides

Rodenticides are those molecules and agents which are used for controlling the populations of rodent pests, usually through targeted ingestion of toxicants.

The ideal pesticide is a molecule or agent which is capable of being delivered to and acting specifically and effectively upon a precise target, with no harmful or deleterious effects on the surrounding environment or it's ecosystems.

We do not currently have the ability to  produce the Ideal Pesticide at this time, although all well directed research programmes are intended to bring us closer to this concept.

Regulations

Formulations

The use of most pesticides is regulated in most areas of the world.  Some pesticides are approved for limited use only.   Consultation of applicable local regulation is recommended.

The formulation of pesticides can be used to control many aspects of how they are targeted, and how they act.
