Glue boards Printed from: Pest Control Forum Topic: Topic author: Gamekeeper
Subject: Glue boards It has been brought to my attention that a PC in my area went to a house recently. His bait was untouched after a few days. He put down sticky boards in the attic. He did this on Friday. I was more than a little shocked that he isn't actually going back until Tuesday - a full FOUR days. I know that you should go back at least once a day to check boards but I wondered if this was "recommended" or the law...thoughts and comments ? I never use the damn things myself and it strikes me as a bit of a desperate effort so soon into undertaking a job

Reply author: blatta There is no direct law that states that glue boards must be checked daily. The BPCA have a Code of Practice relating to their use:
Reply author: Dusty Iwould imagine the RSPCA would have some interest too. Pest Control Forum : http://www.pestcontrolportal.com/snitz/ © Pest Control Portal. Always read the Label. Use Pesticides Safely. |
