Foot pump for car tyres.

Pump until red line on pressure release valve appears.

Release trigger very slowly or massive amount of dust shoots out in seconds.

TOO MUCH PRESSURE, HALF WAY UP IS MORE THAN ENOUGH AS YOU ONLY NEED A SMALL AMMOUNT OF DUST TO KILL. if you have too much pressure you will blow the wasp nest to kingdom come the dust is supposed to stay in the nest not on the wall the otherside of the room.

i have never had a problem with pumping my dr5 gauge to the red level, and dont feel i pump the wasps nest to kingdomcom, i dont always use the full pressure when doing a wasps nest depends on the size of it though.

I use a 12v compresor and jump start battery. By the time Ive put my bee suit on the Dr5 is ready. I always pump the dr5 up to the red line and have yet to blow a nest to kingdom come!

if you use a compresser or pump the duster up a distance away from the nest what measures do you put in place to prevent an accidental discharge of dust whilst say passing someones ornamental koi carp pond?

I find the hand pump on the top is more than adequate.

You will get fed up with the hand pump if you 20+ nests to do in a day. Try a small compressor you will never look back.

i never realised you could pump the dr5 with a compressor. What about re loading the sprayer back in your van and catching the trigger and accidental discharging .
