I have a customer with a Biscuit Beetle infestation in a small domestic kitchen. I will advise that she destroys all food and packaging in the kitchen and cupboards (apart from tins and jars). I will then spray the kitchen and cupboards with a residual insecticide and then fog the whole room.
Has anyone treated for this pest and if so what insecticides do you recommend?
Maybe I should have added that this is a very heavy infestation, not just a few in a pack of corn flakes. They are all over the work surfaces, windows, window sills, floor, walls ............. Hence my suggested use of insecticide.
I gain control with the use of Ficam W, never had the need to ULV for this pest yet, normal strenth mix all cubourds clear check out any fabrics including tea towels in a draw etc.
