None of the US based program will ever suit then Dan as they use a pre printed form for reports so no effort goes into that area . Some of their programs do have a word processor interface, but all seem to be predominantly intended for routing You could look at Filemaker Pro and create your own. It has a powerful word processor but the package is very expensive.

This does seem to be a problem with finding a suitable database for use here in the UK. If you could get one made what would you want on it apart from the usual customer info fields? Would you like it as a stand alone programme that can easily be installed and run seperately on your computer? Give us some ideas of what you would need on it. |

| Danboy, are you looking for a complete programme, or if possible, an e-mail based stationary form which you can set and use to fill in your report to send to the customer? |

I know this is an old thread but I have been looking for software that could help with invoicing and found this; http://www.binarema.com/volutive.html
ITS FREE
From what I have seen of it, it has potential. You can customise the pages to suit your requirements, remove the American phrases for fields and insert your own. Change the look of each template and even create your own. E-mail invoices or reports.
Well worth downloading and taking a look at |

I think over the last year, I have downloaded at least 6 others to take a look at and non give you the flexability that this one does. I am impressed by it. I have only been looking at it for a week now, on and off, so I am sure there is a lot that it can do I have yet to discover but so far, it gets my vote. |
