Our other main trainer is entomologist Clive Boase, who is very well known in bug circles! He is also the person behind our Insect ID service reknown for its fast turn around.
This year Clive developed and ran our new Successful Bedbug Management training day, which has proven so popular we've had to add extra days this year already.
The latest course that we've asked him to develop is Ant Biology and Control, in response to the growing importance of these insects.
Twenty five years ago, as a Branch Manager of a 'national company' I was aware of Black Ants and Pharoah Ants - with one incident of Roger's Ants that got us very excited! Now we have Ghost, Red, Wood, Thief, Bid-Headed, Carpenter, White-Footed and Crazy Ants to consider! What happened?
If you're not sure either and would like to find out more, particularly how to deal with them, then please note when these courses are being run during the rest of 2006:
Ant Biology and Control 19th October Shuttleworth (Bedfordshire)
Successful Bed Bug Management 20th October Shuttleworth

| Took myself and the whole crew to the bedbug course in June. Well worth it in my opinion. Shuttleworth is a cracking location just off the A1 near the Black Cat roundabout. |

Cheers 'Bigbully' for your comment. He is a very enthusiastic speaker isn't he, especially about subjects that are obviously his 'life'. Before I went on the Bedbug course myself I wondered how he would fill the day - with no trouble at all as it turned out!
Shuttleworth College is near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire post code SG18 9EA. Their website is www.shuttleworth.ac.uk if you want further info.
The fee for this course, plus the other day-long ones that we run, is 95 per person, which includes coffees, teas, biscuits and of course lunch.
For your interest, in our next Newsletter due out any day, we are offering a free place on any of these upcoming day courses if you spend 750 (+ VAT) in any one order before the end of October. This offer is subject to our normal 'Special Offer' terms which are detailed in the Newsletter.
If you don't normally receive our Newsletter, please let me know and I'll make sure that you're put on the list. |
