I think its time I followed the fine example recently set by Nick on another forum, and took a holiday.
It appears that I cannot enter into any sensible discussions without being ridiculed and subjected to insults and taunts. The main culprits seem to be the membership of UKPCO, no doubt driven by their hatred of my critisism of them. It seems very sad that like a flock of sheep, they follow one another without daring to disagree with their demi gods.
For the record, I have never thought it was a good idea to set-up another organisation. I agree that there was a need for more local interaction and training, and suggested that the people who set up UK should plough some of their energy into NPTA - but was shouted down.
I think its clear for anyone to see that I have never entered into insult throwing on this board; and I think there have not been many days I have not visited since I first joined in October 2005 (Just after Nick and Andy B).
Those days are over. I'll stay away for a while, and go somewhere else where free speach and common sense are a bit more in vogue.
To everyone on this board I apologise if things have gone too far, and I only hope that things can settle down now I'm not around.
So there we go. Gloat if you must - life is too short for this nonsense.
I'll be back sometime, but I may be a while. |

One word springs to mind "pathetic", that is my opinion of posts and posters in general on this site, i am lucky enough to know not a single one of you, so have no axes to grind. I joined this site with the hope of talking to like minded proffesionals, instead i have to sift through drivvle, bitchyness and point scoring.
There is this constant theme of you arent trained as well as i am, my firm is bigger than your firm ad nausium, get a life, you run down one man bands like mine, insinuating we are all fly by night cowboys, and yet anyone reading your posts would think the pest control industry was run and operated by spoilt little six year olds.
Matt, whoever you are, if you find this shangrila where the grown ups go to talk please put a post up so that i may go too. |

i agree with you mole trapper, its just what i have kept saying for a while and posted the same on here.i am glad the the thread professionalism has at last been posted, and i agree whole heartedly, it should of been posted a while back and the bickering stopped, no matter who it came from. i only know a few of the names that were involved and i know that most people dont want to read threads such as this.
please keep the whole forum for what it is meant for.
