AES (soon to become Bayer Cropscience) affirmed its commitment to supporting those of its products based on bendiocarb, in a press release today.
Aventis products available in the EU, containing bendiocarb include ficam� W and ficam� D.
Both products have been widely used for over 20 years in the public hygiene sector.
Bendiocarb was notified (n183) to the European commission under the terms of the biocidal products directive (98/8/EC). It is also being actively supported in a health and safety executive� (UK) review.
