J. Barrie Sheard FCIEH has been elected to be the new Chairman of the NPTA at the last Management Committee meeting.
He takes over from Paul Burton, Senior Pest Control Technician for
Nottingham City Council who as a founder member of the Association in June
1993 became their first Chairman.
"The NPTA owe Paul a great debt of gratitude for the way he has held this post for the last 10 years" commented Barrie.
Barrie who has been a member of the Management Committee of the NPTA since
he took early retirement from local government in December 1993 is also
their Promotion's Officer and also the person responsible for pulling
together the hundreds of returns for their Annual NPTA National Rodent
Survey for the last three years.
