Increasing concerns over the risk of contamination from insect fragmentation from high voltage insect light traps (known as zappers) is turning more and more people to using glue board units.

The Cobra unit from Brandenburg employs glue boards to hygienically retain and trap flying insects until they can be disposed of at a safe, convenient time. 

The Translucent trap, utilises Brandenburg's patented translucent technology to improve the efficiency of catch. Rather than just pushing light out of the front as traditional units do, the properties of the unit refract and disperse ultra violet light over a wider area, resulting in an improved rate of catch and making it the most efficient 45Watt trap on the market, the manufacturers claim.
