A balanced combination of carbohydrates, proteins and fats provide a soft and oily bait with 17% fatty substances which prevent drying out indoors and mould developing when used in damp conditions.
The ready-to-use 15 gramme Luxan Vermigon Pasta Bait sachets should be placed in bait boxes along rodent runs or in areas where rodents are known to feed. For rats, seven to 16 sachets (105g - 240g) and for mice, one to three sachets (15g - 45g) should be used per baiting point. "As in any rodent control programme, bait stations should be inspected frequently and sachets replaced as necessary until no more bait is taken. Also, rodenticide baits should not be used for longer than eight weeks at a time," recommends Helen Ainsworth. "In the period between treatments a non-toxic bait such as the Luxan Placebo� should be used to monitor activity and assess the need for further baiting."
