This is one of my customers, be aware that gloves should always be worn when handling wildlife, Mitch is back at work now but has continuous pins and needles in his hand.
Many people dont realise dirt in the garden can transmit the same type of bug, especialy if you have a cut (even small). PPE is often not worn I saw a guy on a site checking boxes and topping up bait last week, you got it 1st time, yes no gloves.
I once contract similar from a burn to the back of my hand, within days my hand had swollen like a ballon and was painfull to touch. The bacteria that causes this type of problem is often carried on the surface of the skin and causes no problem at all, it becomes a problem when it enters a wound and attacks the under lying tissues.
