I have been asked to help at a land fill site blighted with seagulls, they have ultrasonics etc. But they have little effect on them, I was looking at some visual stuff. See the links, any other suggestions.
Ultrasonics no good, bird hearing basically same as ours. Distress calls may work, have used hawks, starting pistol,gas guns when looking after landfill. Best results one sunday when shooting field next to landfill, shot a few gulls easiest week I had on landfill.
