Just the one. The big screw would be super excellent too, but I can get by without that. Anyone help me out here, please?
To explain to any later members who may not have realised straight away what I'm up to here. Briefly; I'm working on a little book about the 'History and Developement of the Rat and Mouse Bait Boxes'. Obviously, I need to examine and photograth as many types as is humanly possible.
Several of the Manufacturers and Suppliers have bent over backwards in their generosity. Many of you guys have. I'm deeply grateful. Now I'm down to just three Suppliers (whose personal ranges I need to access) and some odds and sods. The Ristorat is one of my blockers and I can't find anyone to sell me a single out of a split case.
I'm perfectly happy to pay the going rate and to ship it to Eire. I just need to find a single example available to me
Oh; And Everyone contributing to this project Will be Credited within the book
Thanks for ye time.

The Ristorat is made in Italy by a company called Colkim. Nice people who have a number of English speakers.
http://www.colkim.com/default.asp
is their English language website. You could try Carlo Albertazzi.
Alternatively you could try Russell Environmental Health in North Wales as they certainly used to carry these products. They may well have the odd one in their exhibition stock. I can remember seeing a number of the 'big screws' when I was there, so they should still have some unless Diana has cleared up.
Tel +44 1244 281 333 and ask for Diana. Please let her know I suggested you contact her.
Hope this is of use. |

You serious about that, Dookie? I mean that they used Ristorats? If so, I'd love to hear more. Feel free to PM me on the matter.
Iain; Just waiting to hear back from Colkim. Ghastly thing is, I now see they're producing what would be a Mk II Ristorat? Horror! Now I'll need the original model as well, to compare! Maybe Diana might have that type to hand? Who knows. Let's see what Colkim say first :)
Thanks, people!

Fenn Man - Absolutely serious my friend. I still have a key for one somewhere. In fact if I remember correctly I have some photos of one in situ (being wrongly used)which is possibly still at the location. Can't see any reason for it having been removed but it's prbably been vandalised by now! |
