Some insects which do not fly in temperate climates have been placed in the crawling insect section.

The majority of pest species undoubtedly belong to the taxonomic class Insecta.  Members of this class are characterised by a body consisting of three sections: Head, Thorax and Abdomen.  Usually, antennae, and 3 pairs of legs are present.  Most adults have one or two pairs of wings, attached at the thorax.  We have split them into Crawling Insects and Flying insects for ease of navigation, although this is technically inaccurate - some species (particularly   members of  Coleoptera) are able to fly only in warm climates, and have been placed in the crawling insect category.

Alternatively, if you know the scientific or common name of the pest you are looking for, try a search.
